Magdalena Szatkowska was born in Poland in 1986. Self-taught, she has built herself through her many travels that have made her a visual artist, in constant search of learning and experimentation.

 

Through this journey, art has been always present in her life in different forms. For the last few years she has settled down in Tiruvannamalai, in India. Here, in this space of search and contemplation she started to experiment with abstract art and she has got passionate about that. She works on several paintings at a time adding layers of acrylic paint, blends intention with spontaneity and chance. Paintings unfolding intuitively and abstractly until completion leaving room for the viewer to interpret and explore. Presenting here the outcomes of her exploration.
